Description
Under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing, the LPN provides nursing care to ensure the medical needs of the consumers are met and are responsible for implementation of the Nurse Plan of Care. The LPN documents all pertinent information, transports and accompanies consumers on medical appointments, instructs direct care staff on the performance of simple nursing tasks, provides nursing oversight to the consumers, and administers medications as necessary.
