On Friday, June 27, 2025, Epic celebrated its 50th anniversary with a lively disco-themed event, Epic Groove: 50 Years of Bold Moves, at the Big Dog Saloon in Ravenna, Ohio.
More than 240 guests—including individuals, families, community leaders, and partners—enjoyed a night filled with disco music, dancing, and nostalgic fun, marking not just a milestone but the unveiling of Epic’s vibrant new brand identity. The evening highlighted Epic’s transition from a traditional disability service provider into a dynamic movement championing empowerment, inclusion, and systemic change.
CEO Michelle Madden emphasized that the event celebrated the organization’s past achievements while boldly stepping into its future vision: a world where everyone, regardless of ability, can live independently and lead confidently. Guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks, recognized local changemakers through special awards, and shared impactful stories of Epic’s transformative history and promising future.
